The XPlanner connector has been part of the Mylyn incubator for several years and is currently not actively maintained. Over the lifetime of the connector we have only received a handful of user bug reports or enhancements requests. There has been no activity for several month now. Furthermore, the last release of XPlanner was in 2006 and the SourceForge project shows no recent activity.

Since there is no indication of community interest in the XPlanner connector and there are no plans to graduate the component in the Mylyn project I believe it would be best to archive it and remove it from the incubator update site. Currently the cost of maintaining the sources and build is much higher than the benefit provided by the connector.

+1 we haven't seen activity on this in a very long time

Suggestions from the call:
* lose release status
* doesn't participate in refactoring
* remains on older versions of our update sites, but not newer ones
* remain in CVS, but move to a zarchive folder, next to the sandbox ('z' so that it appears last)

Thanks David. I will remove it from the build for now and move it in cvs once the 3.4.x stream reaches end of life.

The XPlanner sources have been moved to zArchive. The XPlanner connector will not be part of the upcoming 3.5 release.
