Description Boris Bokowski CLA 2010-06-22 14:03:45 EDT
When I switch between the Problems, JavaDoc, Declaration, and Console views, the view toolbar of the view that is being activated is displayed briefly over top of the view tabs in the top left corner of the stack. Happens every time I switch between views in a stack.
Comment 1 Boris Bokowski CLA 2010-06-22 14:09:18 EDT
I am seeing this on Windows but not on the Mac.
Comment 2 Susan McCourt CLA 2010-07-13 01:51:11 EDT
I don't see this on Win7 using I20100712-2029.
However, I do see some flicker in the menu bar when switching from Problems to Javadoc.

I set up a stack that contains:

Problems Javadoc Declarations Console History

I can switch between these views with no observable toolbar flicker.
I observe some menubar flicker when switching from Problems to Javadoc but not vice versa, and not when I'm switching between any others.
Comment 3 Remy Suen CLA 2010-07-14 06:20:36 EDT
The flickering seems to now only occur when you switch to an unrendered view. This is probably because of bug 304863.
Comment 4 Remy Suen CLA 2010-07-14 06:44:15 EDT
We have now have a cheese/floating toolbar problem though, see bug 319829.

I think the same problem happens also on 3.x, not only on e4. See bug 364975.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

This is a mass change to close all e4 bugs marked with "stalebug" whiteboard.

If this bug is still valid, please reopen and remove the "stalebug" keyword.
