Build Identifier: 20100218-1602 see this bug for details: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=295584 it's been closed by someone but it still breaks on my side. i'm using this version: Eclipse for PHP Developers Version: 1.2.2.20100216-1730 Build id: 20100218-1602 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: in my case, i can open new editor window on some files, while on some other files i'll get the error. it seems like error occurs when i try to open php file with duplicate file names/class names. so for example, say my directory structure is like this: /home/workspace/foo.php /home/workspace/test/foo.php /home/workspace/bar.php i can open new editor window on bar.php with no problem, but opening either one of foo.php will cause the error.

Could not reproduce with PDT 2.2 I used exactly your description when verifying bug #295584. See also screen-shot attached to the other bug. Closing - if still reproducible on pdt 2.2+, please reopen and give more details to help reproducing.
