Build Identifier: 20100527-0614 This bug is directly related to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=274554 It happens not only in setCanceled() I encountered the issue in beginTask() I think that it would be better to check if statusLineExist everywhere processDelegate is used. Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 172319 [details] Stacktrace
Created attachment 172324 [details] proposed patch check everywhere that statusline exist before accessing processDelegate better than look if processDelegate is null? I try to handle the better I can "cancel" operation by keeping an attribute. Advice for the best way are welcome.
Aurelien, do you know why the status line is not there?
(In reply to comment #3) > Aurelien, do you know why the status line is not there? getWindowConfigurer().createStatusLineControl(shell) is *not* called in WorkbenchWindowAdvisor.createWindowContents(). because we would like to remove the statusline and gain some pixels.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
