Description Anne Jacko CLA 2010-06-17 23:55:53 EDT
There are three submission system emails for ESE 2010 that are not showing the correct submission ID and/or talk ID and I can't figure out why -- the code to get these values looks just like it does in the emails where it's working.

Here's the three culprits, and you can see what I mean on the Email Review Page in the submission system --

cancellation_master_cancelled_talk
poster_accepted
poster_declined

Thanks!

You mean, in the broken emails, the URL to the talk contains:

view_talk.php?id=Array

Whereas it should be:

view_talk.php?id=11
view_talk.php?id=22

Do I have that right? But when the system sends out the actual email, everything works fine?

Yes, that's the issue. For those three emails, it says "Array" where it should be the value of $sub_id and is empty where it should be the value of $title.

I don't know for sure if the emails sent would have the correct info because that hasn't been tested. All I've tested for sub sys emails are the ones that are sent out when a talk is submitted.

I think all the other emails are reviewing correctly and thus they will probably be correct when they are sent.

Could we use easy2010 for testing more of the sub sys funtionality, such as accepting/declining? I'm thinking there are updates you made to ese2010 that maybe aren't in easy2010?
