Description Elias Volanakis CLA 2010-06-16 15:57:14 EDT
With the new EPP package that has RAP-preinstalled, I think it would make sense to update the 'Getting Started' section so that it directs to the EPP packaged (instead of using Install > New Software).

Thoughts?

PS: I'd be happy to supply a patch, but I don't know where the website content lives...

Sure, help is welcome. We'll provide a new screencast by next week also based on the EPP package, but an additional textual recipe may also fit.

The code is in cvsroot/eclipse.org (or is it org.eclipse?), but since we plan to do some updates to the web site in the next days, you can as well attach a snippet to this bug and let us do the merging.

The getting started tutorial points to the EPP Package since 1.3 was released.
