With subversion it is possible to reintegrate a branch with one simple operation. Several projects can be integrated. This saves a lot of time but for some reason I'm not able to do that with the repositories at Eclipse.org. The functionality was enabled in Subversion 1.5 (bug 257074 suggests that we are at 1.6.5) but installing/enabling is apparently not enough. The actual repository must be upgraded as well. http://subversion.apache.org/docs/release-notes/1.5.html#repos-upgrades Is it possible for me to do this upgrade? If not, I'd like to request that it's done for svnroot/tools/org.eclipse.buckminster
Webmaster will have to do the upgrade. I'll try and find some time to do this today. -M.
Ok, it's done: # svnadmin upgrade /home/data/svn/tools/org.eclipse.buckminster Repository lock acquired. Please wait; upgrading the repository may take some time... Upgrade completed. # -M.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm not sure if it's related but at present it's not possible to access our repo. An attempt to use: http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/tools/org.eclipse.buckminster/trunk Yields this: <D:error> <C:error/> <m:human-readable errcode="200030"> Could not open the requested SVN filesystem </m:human-readable> </D:error>
Hmm, I don't see that error. I'm running svnadmin verify on the repo just to be safe. -M.
Movng to Subversion component.
