When creating a new e4 application and trying to open the Application.e4xmi in the Visual design editor NullPointerExceptions occur.

*Reproducible: always

*Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a  new e4 Application.
2. Right click on Application.e4xmi -> open with Visual Design Editor

I can also reproduce this on Windows 7.

In light of WB, VDE is not supported anymore.
