Description Chris Ring CLA 2010-06-08 20:04:30 EDT
If a product is unchecked in the Product and Repositories dialog, yet the product's _packages_ happen to still be found on the XDCPATH (e.g. IPC that's redistributed in cetools), the unchecked product's Product View is shown. Worse, that Product View [incorrectly] defines the view of the entire repository which its packages were found it.

Concretely, Codec Engine redistributes many dependent packages in its cetools repository, including the IPC product's packages. If you uncheck IPC from the Product and Repositories dialog, and add cetools to the XDCPATH, the IPC Product View will display, and take over the representation of the cetools repository - only showing the IPC product's packages and disallowing anything else in cetools to be shown.

Fixed in xdcconfig-g23

Verified in CCS 4.2M9+ with XDC 3.21.01.51 GA.

When the IPC product is unchecked, yet its packages are present in cetools, the Available Packages View doesn't display IPC's Product View and correctly displays the cetools/packages repository.
