Clients regularly report of the following error using IE 8.0:
Request failed:

HTTP Status Code: 12152

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/193625/EN-US/ says:

   12152       ERROR_HTTP_INVALID_SERVER_RESPONSE
               The server response could not be parsed.

I suggest to handle this error like other connection errors in Request.js.
