An interesting feature on the task viewer would be a "generate unit test", that would create a commented test case skeleton from the description of the bug (adding for example the contents of "Steps to reproduce" as comments in the test methods, and fetching for example files attached to a bug (except patches) beside of the generated test.

The idea sounds very appealing and I would love to have some sort of AI built-in to Mylyn that could parse bug reports and generate code. Unfortunately it does not fall into the scope of the project and we are unable to resolve it. If you require this functionality I would recommend to consider support options from third parties, some of which can be found under http://eclipse.org/mylyn/support/.
