Description Susan McCourt CLA 2010-06-02 21:46:08 EDT
while fixing up some screensnaps in the workbench user doc for the 3.6 release, I began to wonder....are we going to endeavor to update the workbench user doc for the 4.0 SDK? It's a big job.

- All of the non-dialog screen snaps would have to be redone.
- There are also dialogs that will be different (show view, etc.).
- There are also likely actual changes that need to go in the doc. (How docking views works, the toolbar, the perspective switcher, etc. etc. etc....)
- beyond that is the question of whether the other doc (JDT, PDE) would get new screensnaps.

Bug 362032 indicates that doc has been branched for 4.2.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
