Hi, While browsing some big metamodels, I found myself restricted by the size of my little screen, and I'd like to be able to reduce the Type Panel on the left to maximize the Instances browsing panel. Instead of reducing the width with my mouse, could a "reduce button" be added to both of the panels ? Would that be possible ? Regards Nicolas
Do you know any other view in Eclipse which has this behavior, which I could model after? > could a "reduce button" be added to both of the panels Maybe a toolbar action that can be associated with a shortcut would be better, to avoid cluttering the button bars. Or double-clicking the "Instances" title (like with Editor tabs)? And why both panels? Would it be useful to you to be able to show only the "Types" panel?
Unfortunately I don't know Eclipse view with this inner behaviour, this would be found on some kind of a split panel, which I'm not sure Modisco Browser uses. But the double click on the "Instances" title solution seems fine for me, I do not really understand the idea of the toolbar I my opinion both panel are concerned, because the same problem of lack of space may appears when you browse the metamodel in the "Type" panel using the tree derivation representation Nicolas
There should be an option to allow hiding/showing the type list.
I added 3 menu items in revision 2966, to: - show only the types panel - show only the instances panel - show both panels I didn't make it work by double-clicking on the titles, because the corresponding Labels are protected fields and so a listener cannot be added to them.
Bug fixed.
