From the bugzilla https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=312168 , WTP will move up to a newer version of the plugin org.apache.commons.codec . Would it possible for BIRT to move up too ?

I believe WTP is planning on using org.apache.commons.codec_1.3.0.v20100106-1700.jar, while the current BIRT 2.6 build is still using org.apache.commons.codec_1.3.0.v20080530-1600.jar.

We will try the new version, if there is no issue, will include it in BIRT 2.6.

In latest Orbit build S20100519200754, commons.codec has released a new version: 1.3.0.v20100518-1140.

Both WTP and BIRT have switched to use this new version in RC3.

Set as fixed.
