GMF

A few GMF plugins do not have provider name and plugin name. Only the default "providerName" and "pluginName" are used.

Some of them certainly have been around for a while, i.e., the first two.  They're just missing the 

Bundle-Localization: plugin

from the MANIFEST.MF.

I don't understand how this problem is critical.  Mostly it just seems annoying.

It is not critical, but somewhat embarrassing, which is why I made it critical to get some attention.

This need to be fixed before release, the problem was not there last year (unless the translators missed it :-)

Generation was the original product and component for this bug

Well it is somewhat disappointing that the real GMF Tooling committers did not notice this bugzilla, if in fact they are still about.

I have commit rights so I can fix in 2.3.1.

Fixed for GMF Tooling 2.3.1 in Helios SR1. I will promote the build today for RC2.
