Description Thomas Hallgren CLA 2010-05-27 13:48:12 EDT
A requirement filter that fails results in a somewhat cryptic message:

Missing requirement for filter properties ~= $0: org.eclipse.cdt.platform.feature.group
7.0.0.201005241228 requires 'org.eclipse.cdt.core.solaris [5.2.0.201005241228]'
but it could not be found

The "properties ~= $0" part is a QL expression that matches the IU that contains the environment properties against an LDAP filter provided by a requirement. I think this needs to be expanded somehow. Ideally, both the properties and the LDAP filter that they are matched against should be made visible.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
