Build Identifier: EclipsePdt-2.2.0.v20100521

Go to main menu | Window | Preferences | PHP | Editor | Typing.
Tick 'Use Short Tags' check box.


Go to php editor (completely empty editor) and type (| is the cursor position):

<?| 

Actual:
You will get 
<? ?>| 

Expected:
<? |?>

See the expected cursor position.

Reproducible: Always

Verified at PDT-2.2.0.v20100616
Now if use only short tags, cursor is stay at right expected position.
