Description Nick Edgar CLA 2010-05-25 16:21:28 EDT
3.6 M7, Cocoa, 32-bit

In RTC, the repository connection dialog has a combo for choosing your repository, with a pre-canned entry for localhost.

If I choose this entry, and fill in the other required fields, the OK button remains disabled. If I type in the field, the OK button gets enabled. I believe the code is listening only for a Modify event, not Selection. On Windows, this is fired when the selection is made because it also changes the 'text' field.
It seems this behaviour is different on the Mac.

Sounds somewhat like bug 220852 though that was a long time ago. May want to make sure the behaviour is identical on all platforms.

I'm unable to reproduce this with 3.7 HEAD. Combo fires both Modify and Selection events when I choose an entry from combo's drop-down list.
Please reopen if the problem still exists.
