Description Darin Wright CLA 2010-05-25 14:32:46 EDT
3.6 RC2

Using the "New > Plug-in Development > Product Configuration" wizard to create a project definition from an existing launch configuration that is "feature based" does not seed the product with the correct set of bundles.

The product definition generated appears to contain bundles that are in the workspace rather than those in selected features, or it contains plug-ins selected in the configuration (if it was once plug-in based).

Ideally, the generated product definition should be feature based instead of plug-in based (however, I'm not sure products allow additional bundles to be specified that are not part of features).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
