After some time working with eclipse, a popup saying "too many open files" appears. It never happened before, 
It says for ex. svn: Cannot read from '/var/www/html/gps/user_modules/credit/.svn/format': /var/www/html/gps/user_modules/credit/.svn/format (Too many open files)
I have tried to raise file limit but no luck
when I use lsof, i get many lines like this
java       2057     pavlik 2047r      REG                0,3         0    1470821 /proc/2057/maps  
There a hundreds of lines like this. When eclipse starts, there a no such lines.
The number of thies increases till limit.
