Plain text messages get displayed as <pre> formatted text in the archives.
 
Some messages contain their text as one long line per paragraph. Just using <pre> means that these messages get displayed significantly wider than the screen, see e.g. http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cdt-dev/msg18936.html

There are CSS properties to turn on word wrap for <pre>, described at http://users.tkk.fi/~tkarvine/pre-wrap-css3-mozilla-opera-ie.html

I think this would be a useful addition for the style sheet for the archives.

This request may also be applicable for the forums.
