Created attachment 168568 [details] The BIRT library, and a report that references the Joint Data Set. I am in the process of upgrading our system from BIRT 2.3.2 to 2.5.2. I have 2 Data Sets defined in the report library and then a Joint Data Set defined which joins these 2 Data Sets. I upgraded the library and report to 2.5.2 file format. The individual Data Sets worked fine in 2 other reports. But, the report that uses the Joint Data Set is now failing with a complaint that it can't find the 1st of the 2 Data Sets. If I copy the Joint Data Set definition from the library into the report, rather than referencing the one in the library, the report starts to work fine. All the reports that reference Joint Data Sets in the library are having the same problem.

It seems this is a duplicated of bug #272041. I can not use joint data set from library, which uses a parameter from library too in 2.5.2 and 2.6.0 release. But this issue was fixed in the 2.6.1. Please try the latest 2.6.1 build. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 272041 ***
