After our successful move from STP to SOA, we need to take care of changing the project infrastructure. 1. Move the project id from stp.bpmnmodeler to bpmnmodeler (no prefix would be best) 2. Move the project in bugzilla as a subproject of SOA (keep the same components) No action needed for the source code.
3. Also change the inbox name for the project in BZ. Right now it contains stp.
Thanks Antoine; Two things must occur before any infrastructure changes can take place: 1. Existing committer paperwork must be checked in order to ensure existing paperwork allows for the committers to commit to a new project. 2. Existing CQs under stp must be identified to move with the code. I've checked the committer paperwork and there are no issues for the two current committers of the project. Webmaster: Please proceed to script the committer changes to soa.bpmnmodeler. I've also checked the CQs aligned with stp.bpmnmodeler and there appears to be only two EPL CQs; namely CQ3257 and CQ3259. It was confirmed during the IP Log approval that this project does not ship any third party libraries. Therefore, we will also arrange to move these CQs to soa.bpmnmodeler for the project. If you can confirm there are no further changes to committers nor CQs; we can get started. Thanks, Sharon
No further changes!
CQs have been moved by IP Team. Webmaster; Over to you. Thanks, Sharon
The bugzilla stuff is pretty straight forward. When would you like to do that? As for the project id, it needs to have the prefix as part of the standardized naming scheme. -M.
For BZ: any time. Have at it. For the prefix : soa it is then :)
Ok, I've moved the bugs, updated the inbox and changed the prefix for the group. I think that's it. -M.
We also need to change the id of the project for the iplog. It looks like it was handled for the portal already.
I've double checked the IP log link under SOA and there appears to be some meta data errors for bugzilla, and the product name. There are no committers or repository listed as well. Matt: Is this something we need to investigate on our end or this just an adjustment required by the project to their meta data? Thanks, Sharon
I think we're done here. Please reopen if I'm wrong. -M.
I updated the project home page URL in the Foundation database record, since Sharon suggested that might be helpful. It's set to http://www.eclipse.org/bpmn/
I took a look in the portal and I don't see any meta-data for SOA.bpmnmodeler, which the project will have to fix before some of this data appears. -M.
You mean I have to reenter by hand everything I had entered for stp.bpmnmodeler ? Any way I could not spend time doing that ?
I have a old copy of the STP bpmnmodeler Meta-data, but you'll have to update it all, which is probably the same amount of work. But if you'd like to use it as a starting point I can make that happen. -M.
Pretty please!
Done. -M.
