Description Dani Megert CLA 2010-05-07 11:16:30 EDT
N20100505-2000.

The New and Select Variable dialogs can be stacked endlessly:

1. click 'New...' in the 'Select Path Variable' dialog
2. select 'Variable...' in the 'New Variable' dialog
3. goto 1

It should not be possible to endlessly stack those dialogs.

Also the Remove/Edit buttons should not be enabled :

* In the Java perspective, right click a Java project, goto Build Path > Link
Source...
* Select Variables... (Lets say you already have a variable 'x')
* Edit a variable using Edit... button
* Say 'y', use 'Variables...' to select location
* Remove... 'x', select some other variable location , OK
=> In the old dialog , you can still see the removed variable in the list
That variable is never removed from the list even after you finish all the
dialogs.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
