I created a java project with snippet 46, http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.swt.snippets/src/org/eclipse/swt/snippets/Snippet46.java?view=co

When I run it the main listener receives MouseUp and MouseDown events, but doesn't receive any MouseMove events (and until you add sysouts to the listener, it doesn't look like the snippet does anything :-)

I have gtk2-2.10.4-20.el5

The problem was caused due to the shell sending incorrect MouseExit events instead of MouseMove events. This is fixed through bug#305433. So, closing it as duplicate.
Please try with the latest build. Thanks.
