Description Eduard Bartsch CLA 2010-05-06 04:54:13 EDT
It should be possible to use SFS together with Linked Resources and Virtual Folders.

Following major aspects have to be solved:
- SFS integration into Eclipse Resources has to be able to operate when a project has no team support enabled, i.e. without a TeamProvider and with default RuleFactory and MoveDeleteHook
- Parameters (like HTTP URL or SFS ContentProvider ID) need to be encoded into SFS URI
- Implicit creation of SFS content on first access via Links/VirtualFolders

The issue with deletion of SFS content on deletion of Links/VirtualFolders (linked content in not deleted, same issues as with local file system) will be solved separately by providing an SFS hierarchy browser that supports deletion and other operations.
