When installing a software orca does not announce the status of the checkbox used to select/deselect the software. To reproduce try the following: 1. launch eclipse. 2. press alt+h and choose install software. 3. choose a site. 4. press tab until you find the list of available softwares. There is a checkbox for each software but orca does not read its status automaticaly, even if I press space to select / deselect. I can read the status using flat review mode.
Jose, how do you get Orca to go into flat review mode? Thanks!
(In reply to comment #1) > Jose, how do you get Orca to go into flat review mode? Thanks! Using the laptop layout you can press CapsLock+i to read the entire line. I don't know the equivalent combination in the desktop layout but it can be found in the key binds page of orca preferences.
I can reproduce this bug on GTK3. The checkbox status is not read, though the selection status of the table item is.
