Description Ralf Sternberg CLA 2010-05-05 05:30:08 EDT
The Team -> Commit dialog allows submitting a commit using Ctrl+Return. Would be great if this was also possible in the Mylyn task editor.
Comment 1 Shawn Minto CLA 2010-05-05 12:18:45 EDT
Ralf, tasks can be submitted using the default key binding of Ctrl+Alt+S which is configurable in the Keys preference page for the "Submit Task" command.
Comment 2 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-05-06 04:39:06 EDT
You can also Alt+S (on non Mac operating systems).
Comment 3 Steffen Pingel CLA 2010-05-06 04:40:09 EDT
The default command key binding is Alt+Shift+S.
Comment 4 Ralf Sternberg CLA 2010-05-06 05:00:14 EDT
My idea was to use keybindings that are already established in other (but related) contexts.
Ctrl+Shift+S is also used for Team -> Synchronize which is a completely different action than submitting a change.
I also think that Ctrl+Return is more suitable for submitting as the use of the Return key emphasizes a "commit" action.

But I understand that you don't want to change existing behavior.
