After some nominally benign CVS changes 
https://build.eclipse.org/hudson/job/cbi-mdt-ocl-3.0/202/console
fails. After unrolling CVS changes, It still fails.

A diff of 205 and 201 shows (build data normalised to 201010101010 to reduce diffs.)

The failing build has picked up xpand.feature.group 1.0.0.v201005041053, yet both show

and unzipping verifies that xpand M7 has not been overwritten on top of M6 so how is a post M6 contribution getting into a build that uses an M6 ZIP?

Mmm. http://download.itemis.com/updates/milestones only contains de... plugins so cannot explain where the unexpected M7 contrtibutions came from.

Bug 311662 may explain why the build fails with the M7 contribution, but how did they get into the build?

http://download.itemis.com/updates/milestones si a composite Update Site whose use in a build subverts its predictability.
