Description Jeff McAffer CLA 2010-05-03 17:53:51 EDT
in m7

I have a target that happens to have both RAP and SWT and a product that uses just SWT types (i.e., is not an RCP application). When I export the product everything goes swimmingly, no errors are reported, the product is present on disk etc. On launching the product there is a numbered log in the configuration dir reporting that my application has unresolved compile errors related to SWT.

The cause of this is that PDE is binding to the RWT SWT classes rather than SWT's. Fair enough (well not really but that's a different problem). The real problem for this bug report is that the compile / export is actually failing but no errors are being reported.

There does happen to be a logs.zip in the export directory. Looking through that you will eventually find one that has compile errors in it.

Strange, if i delete the launcher name in the product configuration, then the exported product can be started without problem.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
