Description Remy Suen CLA 2010-05-03 10:56:06 EDT
1. Use the context menu to create new untitled text file so you have an editor.
2. Use DND to move the 'Problems' view into the editor area, creating a new view stack.
3. DND the 'Problems' view back to the bottom stack.
4. The created view stack does not go away. An NPE is also logged.

Alternatively, you can just drag the 'Problems' view to the bottom of the 'Package Explorer'. The same thing will happen and you don't need to bother with getting an editor up actually.

I think I've already seen that one today. I'll keep my eyes open during my perspective work which will involve some fairly complete 'integration testing' to be sure that the perspective implementation can survive parts being in DW's and DnD...
Comment 3 Eclipse Genie CLA 2019-03-29 16:55:59 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
