I get the following exception when I try to update the JPA feature from P2 on Eclipse Galileo Fall. Apparently the same issue occurs for MOXy. Your original request has been modified. "EclipseLink JPA" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. Software being installed: EclipseLink JPA 2.0.2.v20100323-r6872 (org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.feature.group 2.0.2.v20100323-r6872) Missing requirement: EclipseLink JPA 2.0.2.v20100323-r6872 (org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.feature.group 2.0.2.v20100323-r6872) requires 'javax.persistence [2.0.0.v200911271158]' but it could not be found
Looks like the problem is that the the dependency was rev'ed, but the feature wasn't updated. I'll need to go in and update the features, rebuild them, and regenerate the P2 repos.
the 2.0.2 repository has been rebuilt, as has the release repo in general. You should now be able to retrieve 2.0.2 from http://download.eclipse.org/rt/eclipselink/updates
