Build Identifier: A few suggestions to improve productivity

Hi! I would like to send a few suggestions, that I am sure will improve a lot the developer productivity when working with Eclipse and a SVN repository.

1) When comparing two projects, it could check the SVN information and compare only the files that I have changed or created. Since I am working in a growing team of developers, and the project is also growing more and more, it could be nice if I have such option, because it would allow me to focus only in my own work. Actually Eclipse compares all files in folders and this takes more and more time as the project grows. I need to compare projects to copy new and changed files between them. Since all files are compared, it is very likely to make a mistake by copying files that are not mine. So, it would be wonderful if we could select two projects or folders, and then right click to select the option "Compare each other" from the Team menu.

2) When exporting files, it could also have an option to mark all changed and new files. This could also work by checking the SVN information. Since I can’t upload files directly to the production server, I need to build packages and send it to the production staff. Actually I need to manually search the whole file tree and check each new and changed file. This takes too much time and it is very likely to miss files or mark unwanted files or folders. So, it would be nice to have the option "Export all new and changed files and folders" into the Team menu, when I do right click in a project or a folder.

Well, I hope you appreciate my suggestions. Thank you very much!

Best regards,

Edemilson Lima,

Reproducible: Always
