Description Missing name CLA 2010-04-30 17:54:55 EDT
Build Identifier: CCSv4 - 4.2.0.07025

this problem came up when a cache memory seg had "space == Cache"

The BIOS conversion tool will be updated to not generate any space attribute information for segs that do not have supported values for "space" (in the xml file that is input to the conversion tool)

see attached email for details (if I find how to attach something into this bug ...)

Reproducible: Always

verified using xdctools-d27.

cloned my own xdcprod tree and pointed it to xdctools-d27, rebuilt, then ran the conversion tool using that version of xdc.

used a version of the conversion tool which *does not* generate 'space' data for invalid space settings such as "space - Cache"

the platform wizard handled this, and i was able to open up the generated platform within the CCSv4 platform editor (thus proving that it was also a valid platform).
