Sashes between views and editors in the Eclipse SDK 4.0 are really hard to hit with the mouse. Can we make the mouse-sensitive area made as wide as they look like visually?
If it's easy to do it'd be good to improve this for M5.
Problem here is that the new look for the CTabFolder includes the shadow gutters on each side. This adds an additional 5px gutter on either side of each CTabFolder. The SashForm that we're using currently uses the standard width of 3px - we could make this bigger, but that would also increase the spaces between folders. I think part of the problem is that the shadow is missing on the left part of the CTabFolder so it seems like you should be able to grab a part that you can not. Once I get the shadow fixed, it should be more apparent what can be grabbed.

Note from a 6/15 implementation review (win7 screenshot) from Linda. "all other interior gutters between panes and edges should be 15 pixels wide or high, excluding the shadows and keylines on panes."
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
