Description Dirk Bernsau CLA 2010-03-04 04:49:26 EST
Build Identifier: 1.3M5

When dragging the contents of a text widget to some place else within a RAP application, Firefox takes teh text as new URL and starts to load it.

This is a problem since the user looses the session without intending to do so.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.) Go to http://ondemand.yoxos.com/geteclipse/start
2.) Enter www.eclipse.org into the search field of the Components view (top-left corner)
3.) select the whole text within the field
4.) drag the selected text into the white area at the bottom of the view
5.) browser start to load www.eclipse.org

fix

I found no way to prevent the dragging of the text, but this prevents url-dropping in FF as a whole.
