Here are the threads dumps taken during this freeze

Using build I20100217-1031, I was debugging some code with one "watched expression" in the Expression view. I hit a breakpoint and clicked on the expression to see its contents refreshed, but nothing happened (the contents was still the contents of the previous halt at this breakpoint) and, unfortunately, the UI became completely unresponsive even after having waited several minutes.

Note that I had to kill my eclipse session as even after having filled this bug, it's still frozen...
Comment 2 Darin Wright CLA 2010-02-24 11:26:43 EST
I don't see a classic deadlock here. It seems the main thread is simply stuck in a native method attempting to get the text clipboard contents.

What's in the clipboard when this happens?

Sorry, but I don't remember... :-(

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
