Description Tomasz Zarna CLA 2010-02-12 13:01:47 EST
N20100210-2000

Steps:
1. Synchronize with a patch containing Java files changes
2. Switch to 'Patch Contents' model
3. Double-click on a file
4. When compare editor opens, double-click on hunks for the file
=> Java Structure Compare shows changes in all directions (depending on the patch): incoming, outgoing, conflicts. Only incoming are expected (we don't display conflicting hunks yet). See attachment 156686 [details].
=> Quite often, structure compare is identical for different hunks. Of course, a patch can have hunks that e.g. affect the same method, but that's not the case.

Apply Patch wizard in 3.5.0 gives the same results :\

Deferring due to the fact it's not a regression introduced by the new "Apply Patch in Sync View" feature. In 3.6, given our limited resources we would like to focus on new bugs related to the feature.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
