We are currently creating a Slovene version of an RCP application. Normally we use babel language packs to translate our software into local versions, but I can't find a Slovene translation in the Babel project.

Is there already something translated into Slovene? If not, we can provide translations and contribute them to the open source project. But we don't have any experience with this process.

I believe the locale ID for Slovenian is sl_SI. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I checked in the schema changes to add the language. You will see the langauge in Babel after we have deployed the changes to the server.

After that, you can goto the Babel Translate Page (http://babel.eclipse.org/babel/translate.php) to translate individal strings for Eclipse projects. If you have a large amount of translation contributions, please follow the process at http://www.eclipse.org/babel/development/large_contributions.php.

I have a question. When can I expect that I can start doing my Slovenian translations? I dont see the Slovenian option in the translate menu yet.

We've just deployed the recent patches to the live server. You should be able to see the Slovenian language on this page now: http://babel.eclipse.org/babel/translate.php
