Run BVTs on Linux. The BVTs currently run on Windows XP for the IBM/Sun 1.5/1.6 JREs. To increase platform coverage, we need to run the BVTs on Linux (supported vendor/version most commonly used by our consumers). In addition, section 5.1 of the TPTP Testing Strategy (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/test/automation/process/TPTP_Testing_Strategy_Part_2.html#5.1) requires update.
Can we get this queued up for after the TPTP 4.6.2 branch? We should test on either Red Hat Desktop/Enterprise 4/5 or SLED/SLES 9/10 (assuming machine availability).

Please use Linux Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server v5.3 (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/project_info/releaseinfo/4.6/support.html#Workbench).
No plan to add BVTs on Linux.
