Description Thomas Hallgren CLA 2009-12-14 12:15:25 EST
Bugzilla comments often show up with strange unmotivated line wraps when viewed in the web UI. The problem is caused by

wrapping and line-breaking the commments using an assumed width that doesn't really fit. I've done some experimenting with different font settings in the browser and for some fonts, the comments look OK but for others, they look really bad.

The default on Linux is that it looks terrible. This appeared only with the 3.4 upgrade, I believe.

I just found another problem related to the line wrapping. Bugzilla usually expands a text like 'bug 297805' into a link. If the line wrap is inserted between 'bug' and '297805', that expansion doesn't occur.

The said bug 297805 can serve as a good example.

Thomas, is this still happening to you?

No I haven't seen this lately so I'm closing this one.
