For bug 293355 I crafted a script that syncs pserver data almost immediately to our shadow CVS data using the loginfo facility.  However, loginfo does not see tags or branches, so those changes are not propagated immediately.

I've tapped into the taginfo facility.  This will trap tags and branches, so those will now be propagated to pserver immediately as well.

Now the only write scenario that will not get an immediate sync is a direct change to the filesystem from a shell.  Those changes will be synced in the nightly sync.
