The help system does not have this requirement since there are issues which prevent us from migrating to Lucene 2.9 in Eclipse 3.6.

Then is there anyone that needs this? Perhaps it should be canceled? 

If you in Platform do not plan to use it, you may also have to update your CQ as "won't use after all" or else it'll show up in your auto IP log as in use?

We will be using it in 3.7 so maybe it makes sense to keep it open.

I think this can be closed now, since Lucene 2.9.1 is now consumed by the Platform.

Correct, 2.9.1 is in Orbit already.

One thing to note is that 2.9.4 is out now...
