Bugzilla – Bug 295502
turning off "open file on completion" does not enable the apply button
Last modified: 2011-04-28 01:03:53 EDT
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009101601 Firefox/3.0.15 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Eclipse 2.5.1 Build: M20090917-0800 In the "Run Configurations" dialog, on the "Output" tab for an XSL transform, the "Open file on completion" check box is turned on by default. Turning the check box off does not make the "Apply" button become enabled, unless you switch to a different tab first. Turning the check box on if it is saved in the off state, however, does enable the "Apply" button. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the "Run Configurations" dialog. 2. Create a new XSL transform. 3. Click "Apply" to save the configuration initially. 4. Click the "Output" tab. 5. Click the "Open file on completion" to turn it off. 6. Look at the "Apply" button and wonder why it is still disabled. (the workaround) 7. Click the "Main" tab. 8. Look at the "Apply" button and wonder why it is now enabled. 9. Click the "Apply" button to keep the check box change made on the "Output" tab.
I observed the same behaviour on Eclipse Platform Version: 3.5.1.R35x_v20090910-9gEeG1_FthkNDSP2odXdThaOu9GFDPn83DGB7 Build id: M20090917-0800 Eclipse 3.5 using Eclipse XSL Developer Tools updated to Version: 1.0.2.v200908271520-7R7T8sFIhIehWg454rq_U1 Build id: 20090616035105 on Dec/18/2009.
