Description Dani Megert CLA 2009-11-02 11:53:32 EST
3.6 M3.

1. export a Java project to an archive
2. delete it
3. import existing project from archive into workspace
==> import finishes without warning/error but files are not imported

When looking at the code in ImportOperation.importFile(Object, int), I see that the errors are collected but at the end they aren't reported to the user.

NOTE: The reason for the errors is the broken export caused by a bad fix for bug 278402. I've reverted that code, so it's essential to try with 3.6 M3 and not with HEAD.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
