Description Danail Branekov CLA 2009-10-29 07:18:12 EDT
There are a couple of sporadically failing tests in the org.eclipse.jst.ws.cxf.tests package. Here are the test reports:
http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/jaxws-R0.5-I/20091028222857/I-I20091028222857-20091028222857/testResults/html/org.eclipse.jst.ws.cxf.tests.AllTestsSuite.html
http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/wtp-R3.2.0-I/20091028010239/I-3.2.0-20091028010239/testResults/html/org.eclipse.jst.ws.cxf.tests.AllTestsSuite.html

The failiures are due to tests instabilities but should be fixed

You may have heard, but in case not, I'll write it here ... if the test(s) fail repeatedly (even if intermittent) it is best to remove them (by commenting out the test case) until they can be fixed.

Its no big deal this week, for today, but perhaps after we declare this week, they should be removed, if not fixed.

The reason, if not obvious, is to avoid people "getting used to" having failed builds, in which case other, important failures might be overlooked.

Thanks for your prompt attention to this.

The second failure I assume is caused by thread unsafe implementation of the org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.ProjectPreferences class. I have opened bug 293678 about the issue

Fix for the failing EndpointIsSessionBeanConstraintTest test committed in HEAD

Do you think this issue is the same that's causing the most recent failing JUnit test? In
