I do like the improved Version and Component Chooser for JIRA: http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/new/images/3.3/jira-version-chooser.png The Trac web GUI also provides a more structured display of version and component field. Joerg, can you post an example of what structure you would expect in the version/milestone chooser? Trac only supports selecting a single version or milestone so a standard drop-down seems sufficient. Are you mainly interested in the filtering capabilities of the JIRA version chooser?

Yes, filtering for versions and milestones would be great and the structured display by due date, open and closed milestones would be wonderful. See attached screen shot.
I remember there was a bug to filter out closed milestones. This would be an improvement to this bug.
