It would be good if on the first page of the report, there was a link to a list of all the bundles where references had been found. This would allow for a quick identification of the interesting plug-ins. In my case this is of interest so I could easily load the code of these plug-ins and look at their code.
I think this would be useful on the page the summarizes references to a single bundle. Otherwise, the list could be large/overwhelming. If you're just scanning for references to p2, I could see that having a single list might be useful, but in the more general case when one is scanning for references to org.eclipse.*, it is more intersting to see smaller lists - i.e. so on the page that shows all references to org.eclipse.p2.somebundle.
That works for me too.
this will be built on the new report structure from bug 289903, updating deps
Created attachment 148684 [details] proposed fix The patch provides a nice summary at the bottom of the referenced types page listing all of the bundles that have references, their version, their total reference count and are annotated with the 'internal red' colour if any of their references are internal.
Applied patch to HEAD, please verify Darin W and Pascal
Verified, pending Pascal's usability critique :-)
Marking verified.
