In the Progress view on the Mac:
- if there are no items, the scroll bar is still visible and active
- if there are items, some of them are unusually large (see attached screen shot)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the Progress view.
2. Do something that creates progress tasks, like Check for Updates.
3. Click on the various tasks that appear, to select them.

With most probability, its a Progress View issue (it already has few layout issues) Investigating this now.

Sounds good :-)

The "user operation in progress" dialog has the same issues (the one that appears when you try to do something like saving a file, while the workspace is busy with another operation like building).
