I looked for bugs that have to do with cocoa and performance and/spins, ie "the rainbow spinny ball of doom". Now that I am using 3.5, there are just way too many things that make the UI say "hold on for a minute or two and maybe I'll get back to you about that new window or pane that you want to see...."

Is there someone profiling the Mac platform? I can take samples if there is somewhere to put them. I can even dig into the code, but again, I could waste a lot of time if I cannot find the people who are looking into this and where they might be discussing the issues. Any pointers you might provide would be appreciated.

Steps to Reproduce:
Using WOLips, and yes it may be specific to WOLips, but given that 3.5 is using Cocoa instead of Carbon, I bet there are other issues...
